Nino Gvetadze started her studies in her birthplace Tbilisi (Georgia) and then studied in the Netherlands with Paul Komen and Jan Wijn. In 2008, the pianist won the second prize, the press prize and the audience prize of the International Franz Liszt Piano Competition in Utrecht. Two years later she received a Borletti-Buitoni Trust Award.
Nino Gvetadze travels the world giving recitals and has made solo CDs with works by Chopin, Liszt, Musorgsky, Rachmaninov, Debussy and Brahms. As a soloist she has been a guest with companies such as the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, the Kammerakademie Potsdam, the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, the Finnish Joensuu Orchestra, Tapiola Sinfonietta, Amsterdam Sinfonietta, the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, the Residentie Orchestra and the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. Conductors with whom she has collaborated are Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Klaus Mäkelä, Jakub Hrůša and Jaap van Zweden. During the 2017 Prinsengracht Concert she performed with the Brodsky Quartet.
Nino recorded CDs for Brilliant Classics, Etcetera and Orchid and Challenge, with whom she recently recorded a new Brahms CD. She forms a critically acclaimed trio with Frederieke Saeijs and Maja Bogdanovic and teaches at the Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam. She is co-founder and artistic director of the Naarden International Piano Festival and artistic director of the Delft Chamber Music Festival.

Paul Komen
Paul studied piano at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam with Jan Wijn, where he graduated cum laude. He continued his studies with Hans Leygraf in Hanover, in New York with Gyorgy Sandor and in Bloomington with Gyorgy Sebok. In 1989 he made his US debut with recitals at Carnegie Hall in New York and at the National Gallery in Washington. In the 2000–2001 season he played Beethoven’s 32 sonatas in a series of six concerts, including at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Beethovenhaus in Bonn. He also played with the Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century conducted by Frans Brüggen and the Orchester des Champs Elysées conducted by Philippe Herreweghe. In addition to his solo performances, Paul Komen gives many chamber music concerts and forms a piano duo with the Georgian pianist Nata Tsvereli.
In recent years, Paul Komen has also focused on playing historical instruments in addition to the modern grand piano, which has led to numerous concerts at international festivals, such as the Festival for Early Music in Utrecht, the Dresdner Musikfestspiele, Festspiele Sans Soucis in Potsdam, the Festival of Flanders, Le Festival de Piano de La Roque d’Anthéron, Les Académies Musicales in Saintes and Musica Antigua in Barcelona.
Paul Komen has released CDs with works by Mompou, Scriabin, Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Brahms and Chopin, among others. He received an Edison in 1994 for one of these CDs.
Paul Komen teaches piano as a main subject and chamber music teacher at the Prince Claus Conservatoire and is artistic director of the Peter de Grote Festival.
Juliane Steinbach
Born in Brazil, Juliana Steinbach began her musical education in France. She studied at the Conservatoire de Paris (CNSM) with leading pianists such as Bruno Rigutto and Pierre-Laurent Aimard, graduating with a First Prize in piano and chamber music. Her studies took her to prestigious institutions such as The Juilliard School in New York and the Accademia Pianistica in Italy, where she worked with greats such as Maria João Pires.
Steinbach has won numerous awards, including the UNESCO Flame Prize and First Prize at the Premio Vittorio Gui International Chamber Music Competition. She is a sought-after soloist with international orchestras and has performed in world-renowned venues such as Salle Pleyel in Paris and Lincoln Center in New York.
In addition to her career as a performing musician, she is active as artistic director of two festivals: “Musique en Charolais-Brionnais” in France and the “Transylvania Chamber Music Festival” in Romania. As a teacher, she taught at the Caen Conservatory and has given numerous masterclasses worldwide. Steinbach combines her concerts with pedagogical projects and is a source of inspiration for young musicians.

Pablo Suaste
Described by the Fanfare Magazine in 2018 as a genuine poet at the keyboard, Pablo Suaste’s elegant and virtuosic artistry has led him to be recognized as a rising artist in the music world.
In January 2017, Mr. Suaste won the Aeolian Classics Emerging Artist Award at the Chicago College of Performing Arts; as a result, he recorded a debut solo album dedicated to works of Franz Liszt , released in 2017 on Aeolian Classics. As the Aeolian Classics Emerging Artist Award winner, he also performed in a seven-tour recital around Chicago.
In August 2018 Pablo was awarded with the second prize at the Esperanza Cruz International Piano Competition. He was awarded with the third prize at the UDG National competition in Mexico, where he also received the prize for the best rendition of the compulsory piece. In addition, he recently received the bronze medal at the Angelica Morales International Piano Competition in Mexico.
Past performance highlights include appearances at important concert venues in Mexico and the US, including his debut with orchestra conducted by the world recognized pianist and conductor Philippe Entremont with the Xalapa Symphony Orchestra, and most recently a successful debut at the Fine Arts Palace with the National Symphony Orchestra of Mexico.
Pablo Suaste studies a Masters Degree in piano performance at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with professor Naum Grubert. In June 2020, Pablo was the recipient of the Holland Scholarship granted by the Amsterdam University of the Arts. In addition, Pablo is supported by the Jacques Vonk Foundation and the National Music Foundation with the use of a grand piano. Despite his recent arrival in the Netherlands, Suaste is a commited educator in his community, and alongside his career as a performer, he has a total of 38 piano students in IJburg, where he aims to educate and spread classical music to children and their families.
