Program 2023
We wish Diana Ketler a speedy recovery and are very grateful to Hannes Minnaar and Paul Komen for being able to step in at such short notice.
From April 12 to 14, the first edition of Naarden International Piano Festival Masterclass will take place. In NIPF Masterclass, master pianists, including a number of former students of pedagogue Jan Wijn, who died in the summer of 2022, give masterclasses to the new generation of (inter)national pianists. To pass on their knowledge and expertise in the spirit of their teacher. Naarden International Piano Festival thus focuses even more than before on the development of international piano talent. The Jan Wijn Fund was established especially for the NIPF Masterclass.
NIPF Masterclass 2023 opens on April 12 with the opening concert in BIJ ANDREAS by the masters Nino Gvetadze, Mariam Batsashvili and Diana Ketler. After two days of masterclasses, NIPF Masterclass closes on April 14 with a final concert by the students.
From April 17-20, 2024, the fifth edition of the successful existing Naarden International Piano Festival will take place. From that year it will be organized every two years and, as before, it will focus on international master students and master pianists.
